This was done in church. That’s what we’re talking about…New Renaissance stuff.  Creative, original, dynamic.  From Fellowship Church in Texas. One person who posted this on Tumblr. commented, “glow in the dark glitter confetti drums, yes please”. Enjoy.

  1. I don’t know whether to be excited or saddened by the fact that you emphasized that this was done “in church.” I suppose you mean the body of Christ and not a building or a meeting, and that’s indeed a thing to celebrate, that is, seeing God’s people express their worship to him in dynamic ways. God is much more expansive than any creative endeavour we can envision, and I hope that creative expressions of his love and likeness in us reach far beyond a particular meeting to infiltrate every fibre of our lives. Cool stuff!

    • I suppose I meant both church gathering places and the Body of Christ. I’m excited to see this level of refreshing, creative performance in a church gathering. Imagine if people went to church to see the most creative, inspiring art being made? Of course, even this dream of local churches as centers of creativity is only part of the equation of a New Renaissance in the arts. As you said, we want His creative expressions of love and kindness to flow through us, beyond a particular meeting, and bring light to the world. Thanks for your comment, Matte. I enjoy your blog at outword.blogspot.com.

  2. Marvelous artisticollaboration! That resplendent video reminds me of Ephesians 2:10 – “We are his masterpiece [Grk. is ‘poema’]…” and Zephaniah 3:17 – “The Lord your God is in the midst of you…He will exult over you with singing.”

    Thick thanks for the inSPIRAtion!

  3. Cristo mismo es la inspiración de la creación, por el fueron creadas todas las cosas y por el subsisten todas las cosas. Esta creación es Cristo mismo ministrando a través de esta obra. Felicitaciones.
Christ himself is the inspiration for the creation by the were created all things and through all things subsist. This creation is Christ ministering through this work. Congratulations.
